Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is expected to be given a starting spot against Salernitana on Friday night, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Chilean forward may be given the start so that Lautaro Martinez can have a rest ahead of the match in midweek against Torino.
It should also be said that Alexis Sanchez has impressed Simone Inzaghi when he has had the chance to get on the pitch. He scored an excellent volley against Cagliari in the previous game when he was standing in for Edin Dzeko when he was having a rest.
There is one other position that is in doubt for the match as it is not yet clear if Federico Dimarco will be given a start so that Croatian winger Ivan Perisic can be rested.
The match kicks off at 20:45 local time on Friday evening.
