Inter put in a fine collective display to dispatch newly-promoted Salernitana 5-0 yesterday evening in Serie A, but it was coach Simone Inzaghi and Hakan Calhanoglu who led the way.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who awarded each of the pair excellent grades of 8/10 in their player ratings for the match.
Calhanoglu continued his rich vein of form with an efficient and impactful display on both sides of the ball, capped off with two more assists to add to his growing tally.
The 27-year-old was the player who really made everything tick over for the Nerazzurri according to Tuttosport, but the entire team looked to be in excellent form.
No Inter player received a score under 6.5/10 for what looked at times like an exhibition display, while special praise was also reserved for head coach Inzaghi who orchestrated the entire thing and once again showed that his team is on the right track with his ideas.
