Inter are trying to convince Borussia Monchengladbach to allow left-back Ramy Bensebaini leave on loan initially in the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are looking to move for the 26-year-old this month, but only if they can do so on loan initially.

Inter are looking to bring in a backup to Ivan Perisic on the left during the window, and Bensebaini as well as Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic and Everton’s Lucas Digne are other considerations.

Bensebaini is also a target for June, as is Kostic, as the club consider the possibility of a long-term successor for Perisic.

However, any player to be signed this month in the position would have to be on loan, at least initially, so the Nerazzurri will have to work to convince either Gladbach, Eintracht, or Everton of such a formula for a deal.
