Inter could be without Hakan Calhanoglu against Lazio on Sunday through suspension due to the Bologna match not being played, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the fact that Inter’s match against Bologna on Thursday is not going ahead due to Covid-19 cases in the Rossoblu camp has ramifications for both Inter and Atalanta.

Hakan Calhanoglu is suspended for Inter’s next match which is Bologna, but with that not being played, he will now be suspended when Inter faces Lazio on Sunday at San Siro. That game is not currently expected to be called off as both teams have low case levels.

Inter will also face Atalanta in Bergamo on January 16 but because Atalanta will not face Torino today and are not expected to face Udinese on Sunday either, Remo Freuler will instead be suspended for that match with the Nerazzurri.
