Inter executives are confident that they are leading the race to sign Torino centre back Bremer in the summer transfer window, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Inter are not the only big Italian team that wants to sign the Brazilian defender.

AC Milan, Juventus, and Napoli are all very interested in the player whose contract will be expiring in June 2023.

Despite the strong interest from others, Inter feel they can sign the player ahead of the competition and do not wish to be dragged into a bidding war that will inflate the price of the defender.

Torino President Urbano Cairo is hoping to receive around €30 million for the defender who he signed in 2018 for just €5.8 million.

Selling Stefan de Vrij may be a way for Inter to finance the deal and they may also seek Luiz Felipe on a free transfer to provide more cover.
