Inter are confident that they will be able to complete the signing of Borussia Monchengladbach defender Mathias Ginter next summer.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the club are working to bring the 28-year-old in and that they feel that their offer is currently the most attractive one.

Ginter has officially communicated his intention to leave Gladbach when his current deal expires at the end of June rather than signing an extension, and the Nerazzurri look to be the club with the strongest interest in his signature.

Inter have put forward an offer of a four-year deal worth a net of €3.5 million per season in order to convince the German to join in June.

So far Ginter has yet to make a decision on his future, but the Nerazzurri feel that as things stand he is not likely to choose another club’s offer over theirs and that they can secure his signature for next season.
