Ajax and Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana is set to join Inter on a free transfer next summer, and he will be far from the first Cameroonian to play for the club.
Fans will be hoping that the 25-year-old can make the kind of impact that his countryman Samuel Eto’o did when he joined from Barcelona in the summer of 2009 and helped the club to the treble.
Onana posed with the Nerazzurri and Cameroon legend ahead of his own participation in the African Cup of Nations with Cameroon on the latter’s Instagram.
Eto’o captioned the post, “At yesterday’s training session in Olembe Stadium one thing was clear: the Indomitable Lions are ready for action. Two days til AFCON 2021!”
