Inter forward Alexis Sanchez has had a major change of fortune at the club having now scored the winning goal in the Supercoppa Italiana final, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, Alexis Sanchez was actually relatively close to mutually terminating his contract with the club in October after his outburst on social media following a match against Sassuolo.

The Chilean forward was angry about his lack of playing time and took to Instagram to complain about it. This fractured his relationship with the club and there were whispers of a contract termination.

Now he has started to be incorporated into the squad more frequently by Simone Inzaghi and that was rewarded as he scored the winning goal in extra time against Juventus with the final kick of the game.

Alexis Sanchez is still expected to leave the club in the near future, but on better terms.
