Inter is focusing on signing some cover for Ivan Perisic in the left wing-back role but may be forced to wait until the summer, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Inter has two names in mind to be backup to Ivan Perisic.

They are Borussia Monchengladbach’s Ramy Bensebaini and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic. The former is slightly ahead in terms of who the club wants, primarily due to the fact he is 26 years old and Filip Kostic is 29.

It would be hard to acquire either of them during the January window unless Inter brought them on a permanent deal or managed to engineer a loan with a right to redemption at the end of the season that is not too extreme a fee.

Attempts will likely be made but the club may be forced to wait until the summer window.
