Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is set to make a number of rotations to his starting eleven for Wednesday’s Coppa Italia clash with Empoli.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the likes of Federico Dimarco, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Joaquin Correa, and Roberto Gagliardini will all likely start the match.

Marcelo Brozovic will be suspended for the match against Empoli, while Inzaghi could also look to rest one of Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu, so Gagliardini is set for a start while Arturo Vidal could also be included in the eleven.

In defense, the likes of Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni will likely be rested, meaning starts for D’Ambrosio and Dimarco, the latter of whom could also play at left wing-back.

And in attack, Lautaro Martinez will likely start the clash with the Tuscans, while Correa looks to be the favourite to start alongside his fellow Argentine.
