Inter are accelerating their pursuit of Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi who they hope to sign next summer.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the Nerazzurri are working towards getting the 22-year-old’s signing wrapped up for the summer, and that he would cost around €25 million.

Inter are likely to see significant upheaval in midfield during the summer transfer window, with the likes of Arturo Vidal and Matias Vecino set to depart at the end of their contracts, while Stefano Sensi’s future is uncertain.

At least one reinforcement will be brought in in the centre of the pitch, and Frattesi has been identified as the Nerazzurri’s chosen target to bolster the position based on his form in Serie A this season.

The Neroverdi will demand at least €25 million for Frattesi’s signature, and the Nerazzurri are working to reach an agreement on a loan deal containing a purchase obligation for the midfielder.
