Inter boss Simone Inzaghi may choose Alexis Sanchez to start the match against Venezia on Saturday evening instead of Lautaro Martinez, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.

As has been reported today by Sky Sport, via FCInter1908, it looks very likely that Edin Dzeko will be starting the game having not featured too heavily in the recent Coppa Italia match against Empoli that ended 3-2 to Inter.

Alexis Sanchez scored in that game and despite the fact he played nearly all of it after coming on for the injured Joaquin Correa very early, Simone Inzaghi may want to utilise the confidence of his goal in the match against Venezia.

That would see Lautaro Martinez dropped to the bench for the game at San Siro but he will likely be involved at some point in the fixture.

The match will kick off at 18:00 local time on Saturday evening.
