Inter are thinking of trying to sign Felipe Caicedo on loan from Genoa until the end of the season to ensure they have enough depth in attack, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Genoa striker is a player that Simone Inzaghi appreciates a lot after their time together at Lazio in recent years.

Due to the injury that Joaquin Correa suffered against Empoli on Wednesday night, he will now miss at least a month of action. That coupled with the fact that Martin Satriano has left to go on loan to Stade Brest in France means the club are concerned about depth.

Felipe Caicedo has not been in favour at Genoa at all this season and he would certainly be keen on making the move to the Nerazzurri.

He is known for his late goal coming off the bench.
