The date for Inter’s postponed Serie A clash with Bologna will be decided on Monday.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, who report that the Sports Judge will make the decision on the fate of the fixture at the start of the week, and that the Nerazzurri are ready to appeal the date.

Inter’s first match scheduled after the winter break had been an away trip to face Bologna, but the Rossoblu had been unable to fulfill the fixture due to an order from their regional health authority around the number of COVID cases in their squad.

As expected, the Sports Judge has ruled that the match will go ahead at a later date, but it still remains to be seen when this is.

Should the date decided upon for the fixture be inconvenient for the Nerazzurri, however, the club could decide to appeal to change the decision to a different date, so the decision may not be final.
