Legendary former Inter, Roma, and Real Madrid striker Antonio Cassano feels that current Nerazzurri midfielder Stefano Sensi could benefit from a loan spell at Sampdoria.

Speaking on Christian Vieri’s Twitch channel, as reported by FCInterNews, the 26-year-old could develop during the rest of the season with the Blucerchiati after finding playing time hard to come by with the Nerazzurri.

Sensi has not featured often for Inter this season, due to both persistent injury issues and the wealth of other midfield options in the squad.

When the former Sassuolo midfielder has played, it has nearly always been from the bench, and he has not really had the opportunity to get in a real run of form.

With a dry loan to Sampdoria for the rest of the season looking like a real possibility this month, Sensi could have the chance to show his best once again on a consistent basis before a return to Inter.

Of the midfielder, Cassano stated that “A change in scenery could definitely help him.”
