This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the initial loan deal will include a purchase obligation which is triggered by the first point that the Nerazzurri pick up in Serie A in January 2023, and will cost €25 million plus €3 million in add-ons.

Once the purchase obligation is triggered, Inter will pay Atalanta a fixed fee of €25 million for the German, and then a potential additional €3 million in add-ons.

The add-ons are linked to divides as €1 million tied to appearances that the player makes in Serie A, €1 million tied to appearances player makes in the Champions League, and the last €1 million tied number of matches Inter win that he is involved in.

Gosens is all set to sign a four-and-a-half year deal with the Nerazzurri worth €2.5 million per season plus add-ons, and will join this month.
