Inter could use Eddie Salcedo as part of a loan deal with Genoa for Felipe Caicedo in January, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Inter are very keen to bring Felipe Caicedo to the Meazza in the final days of the transfer market in order to soften the blow of Joaquin Correa’s injury.

The Argentine will miss the most difficult part of Inter’s season with a thigh injury and that is why Simone Inzaghi wants to be reunited with former Lazio striker Felipe Caicedo.

Beppe Marotta wants to spend around €750-800,000 on the five-month loan for the Colombian. Another way that the deal could be done is by recalling Eddie Salcedo from his unsuccessful loan spell at Spezia.

He could then be sent to Genoa so that they are not left with a lack of strikers in their squad for the season.
