Inter are going to need every single midfielder in the squad to put in strong performances when they are given the chance during the second half of the season, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
As was highlighted by the club’s official TV channel, Inter TV, via FCInter1908, the backup midfielders have done very well to give Simone Inzaghi what he has needed when they have been called upon this season. The midfielders in question are the likes of Arturo Vidal, Matias Vecino, and Roberto Gagliardini.
They are the players behind the standard midfield three of Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu who start most of the games.
With continued involvement in the Coppa Italia and the Champions League coming up, Simone Inzaghi will need his midfielders to carry on putting in good performances when they are giving other players in the squad a well-earned rest.
