Inter are not getting positive indications from Ivan Perisic regarding the possibility of agreeing a new contract.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Croat does not currently look likely to agree a new deal as he is no closer to their offer.

Inter are still hoping to renew with Perisic despite having signed Robin Gosens from Atalanta as a long-term solution on the left.

The 32-year-old currently earns a net of €5 million per season, and the club are offering a two-year deal at reduced wages of around €3.5 million net per season.

Meanwhile, the player does not look to have moved from his request of a three-year deal which would see his wages increased to a net of €6 million per season.

Should the parties not be able to come closer together then Perisic will be set for a departure in the summer when his contract expires.
