Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca has told Inter that he intends to join them during the summer transfer window.
This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported on air that the 22-year-old has given the Nerazzurri indications that they are the only club he wants to join at the end of the season.
Scamacca is a major target for the Nerazzurri, with the club seeing him as having the right attributes to take over from Edin Dzeko in the long term.
There is still a fair bit of work that must be done before Inter can agree a deal for the 22-year-old with the Neroverdi, but things could be made easier for them by the player’s desire to join them.
Scamacca is the subject of interest of a number of clubs both in Serie A and elsewhere in Europe, but according to Pedulla he has already expressed that he only wants to join Inter.
