Marcelo Brozovic’s contract renewal is just a matter of time away from being officially announced by the club, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport in Italy, via FCInternews, the Croatian will be signing his new contract very soon and will continue with the Nerazzurri for the foreseeable future.

Many fans have begun to fear that there has been a breakdown in the negotiations between the player and the club as it has been reported for some time now that an agreement has been reached, but no contract has been announced.

It was reported on Thursday that the delay to proceedings was because Marcelo Brozovic wanted the bonuses in his contract to be more easily attainable so that he could receive the maximum amount of wage his contract allows.

The deal reportedly will see the Croatian earn €6 million per season for four years.
