Inter president Steven Zhang is likely to have visited the Inter training camp in order to greet the team before the match against AC Milan on Saturday night, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by La Repubblica, the Inter president has been heading to Appiano Gentile the evening before matches since he last arrived back in Milan.

It has become something of a ritual because Inter have been winning the games in which he has visited the training ground. That is one of the reasons why it is expected that he has done the same thing ahead of the Derby della Madonnina.

It is also thought that he likes to survey the training facilities and continue thinking of ways in which the club can be modernised and progressed.

Inter take on AC Milan on Saturday evening and have a chance to move seven points clear at the top.
