Ivan Perisic has not picked up any serious injury issues after coming off in the second half of the Milan derby yesterday, and was just suffering from cramps.

This according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that there are no serious long-term concerns for the 33-year-old, and also that Felipe Caicedo is still in doubt for Tuesday’s Coppa Italia clash with Roma through injury.

Perisic was substituted off the pitch midway through the second half of yesterday evening’s derby clash with Milan, and coach Simone Inzaghi confirmed that the reason for the withdrawal was that the Croat was feeling some tightness in his calf.

However, the issue was not even serious enough for any medical tests to be necessary, and the player was only dealing with cramp.

Meanwhile, Caicedo is still working on personalized rehabilitation from his muscular issues, and it will remain to be seen whether he is ready to feature against the Giallorossi during the week.
