Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has emphasized to his squad the importance of turning their frustration about loss to AC Milan in the derby on Saturday into greater determination moving forward.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri coach has emphasized to the squad the importance of being motivated by their anger after the defeat.

Inter suffered a damaging loss to the Rossoneri in the derby on Saturday, and did so in circumstances which will have made the result even more frustrating.

From a winning position where they could have gone seven points clear of their city rivals with a game in hand, the Nerazzurri ended up surrendering all three points and allowing Milan back into the Scudetto race.

Inzaghi understands that his players are in an angry mood following the disappointing loss, but his message to them has been all about turning these emotions into a more intense determination to bounce back with a number of massive matches just around the corner.
