Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia is glad to have watched his teammates see out a 2-0 win against Roma to make it to the Coppa Italia semi-finals and bounce back from their derby defeat against AC Milan.
Despite not having played in the match, the 33-year-old had played a vital role in getting this far with his dramatic late overhead kick to force extra time against Empoli in the round of sixteen.
Ranocchia posted on his Instagram to celebrate the massive win over the Giallorossi.
He captioned the post, “It was important to get back to winning ways and go through. Forza Inter!”
