Goalkeeper Andrei Radu Will Leave Inter In The Summer, Italian Media Report

Inter backup goalkeeper Andrei Radu looks set to leave the club in the summer transfer as he has no place in the team any longer.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Romanian’s exclusion from the starting eleven in the Coppa Italia yesterday evening is further evidence of his likely departure in June.

Radu had made his first appearance of the season in the Coppa Italia against Empoli in the round of sixteen but, perhaps due to his shaky display there, he dropped out of the eleven for captain Samir Handanovic against the Giallorossi.

The 24-year-old wants to play regular football, and it has become clear that he will very rarely play at the Nerazzurri, even with Handanovic’s form having raised some questions, while Andre Onana will arrive in the summer.

Radu has a number of suitors in Italy as well as abroad, and he will spend the next few months deciding on his new destination away from Inter.
