Inter winger Ivan Perisic is now more open to signing a new contract with the club after discussions between the pair restarted recently, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Croatian winger was contacted by the club immediately after the signing of Robin Gosens from Atalanta so that he could be told that he is not being forced out of the club.

Whilst Robin Gosens is the natural replacement for Ivan Perisic, Inter wants to keep the Croatian beyond this season.

This has reopened the dialogue between the two parties and as of yet Ivan Perisic has not found another club that can pay him what he wants, as well as offer competitive football.

Inter could propose €4 million per season, without including bonuses, on a deal that runs until 2024. The player may still decide that this is too low for him.
