Joaquin Correa Is Not Expected To Return From Injury Before Sassuolo Match In February, Italian Media Report

Inter forward Joaquin Correa is not expected to return from his injury before the match against Sassuolo On February 20, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported today by Tuttosport, the Argentine forward is unlikely to feature at all for Inter in the month of February unless he recovers much faster than is currently expected.

He suffered a hip flexor injury in the Coppa Italia match against Empoli on January 19 in the first two minutes of the game.

That injury coupled with the desire of Stefano Sensi to join Sampdoria on loan is what made Inter move for Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo on loan from Genoa until the end of the season.

It is well known that Joaquin Correa and Simone Inzaghi have got an excellent relationship and the player will be given all the time and space he needs to recover to full fitness as quickly as possible.
