Inter’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg game against AC Milan will be in front of a 75% full San Siro, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, from March 1st or possibly even earlier, Italian stadiums will be able to welcome 75% of their full capacity. This means that even though the date is not yet finalised, the first leg of the semi-final will be in an almost full San Siro.
The second leg of the Coppa Italia tie will not be played until the end of April which means there is a real possibility that by the time that game comes around, stadiums will be open to full capacity for the first time since the Coronavirus pandemic began.
The last time that a derby was played in front of a full capacity crowd at San Siro was in February 2020, right before the league was stopped.
