Federico Dimarco is set to start for Inter in tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Sassuolo, while Roberto Gagliardini looks to be the player who will complete the midfield with Marcelo Brozovic suspended.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the duo are likely to be selected to make up for the suspensions for the match.

Bastoni will serve the second of the two-match suspension that he picked up after the Milan derby against the Neroverdi after the club’s appeal to have it reduced to one match failed.

In his place, Dimarco is likely to come in as a like-for-like replacement on the left of the defense, although Danilo D’Ambrosio could also start.

Meanwhile, Brozovic is also suspended for tomorrow’s clash, due to an accumulation of yellow cards, and Nicolo Barella is likely to take over his role at the base of midfield while Gagliardini will start rather than Arturo Vidal following the Chilean’s exertions against Liverpool.

On the right, Matteo Darmian is the favourite to start as Denzel Dumfries looks likely to be given a rest.
