Inter-linked Torino defender Bremer has made clear to his club that he wants a transfer to another club during the summer window despite having recently signed a contract extension.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that in spite of having signed a new deal until the end of June 2024 the Brazilian has a tacit agreement that the Granata will allow him to leave for the right offer.

Bremer has emerged as the Nerazzurri’s main target in defense based on his form for Torino this season, and he is seen as the ideal long-term successor to Stefan de Vrij at the heart of the defense.

The 24-year-old recently signed a one-year extension with the Granata, from 2023 to the end of June 2024, but this has just been for the purpose of increasing the club’s leverage in negotiations for a sale.

The player expects that he will be allowed to leave for a bigger club in the summer, while the Turin-based club will feel less pressure to agree to a bargain fee now that he is not going into the last year of his contract.
