AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be fit to face Inter in the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg on Tuesday night, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Swedish striker will definitely be out of AC Milan’s match against Udinese on Friday night and will also not be fit enough to face his old team in the Coppa Italia.

He is suffering from an Achilles tendon injury which has kept him out for a long time now. Stefano Pioli will be desperate for the veteran striker to return so that he has more options up front to rotate with Olivier Giroud.

Achilles injuries are very hard to treat and require a lot of patience which is why there is no chance of the Rossoneri rushing him back just so that he can face Inter in the Coppa Italia.
