Referee Maurizio Mariani has been officially appointed to be in charge of Inter’s Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against AC Milan tomorrow evening.

This is confirmed by the Nerazzurri’s official site, who also name the rest of the officiating crew for the derby clash for a place in the Coppa Italia final.

Mariani will be assisted in his duties by the likes of Stefano Alassio and Filippo Meli, while the role of the fourth official will be filled by Luca Massimi.

In the VAR booth, Massimiliano Irrati will oversee the match to ensure that any errors made by the on-pitch officials are corrected, while Alessandro Giallatini will assist him in his duties.

The team of officials will be entrusted to take charge of a massive derby clash and to see that the game flows and both sets of players are under control, so that the focus is on the action on the pitch.
