Inter view Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram as part of their plans next season to become a regular in the latter stages of the Champions League, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, Inter are already planning in detail their squad for the 2022/23 season in which they want to at least reach the Round of 16 in the Champions League again.

It is no secret that Sassuolo forward Gianluca Scamacca and midfielder Davide Frattesi are part of the plan for next season, but French forward Marcus Thuram could also join the club.

Inter would have to offload Alexis Sanchez in order to make that move financially viable.

Lecce midfielder Morten Hjumland has also been linked as a young depth option for Inter. Similarly, Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez remains an option but Inter only seem interested in the Uruguayan if no other targets are possible.
