The next few weeks are set to be decisive in determining wing-back Ivan Perisic’s future at Inter, as he is yet to sign a contract extension.

According to L’Interista.it, negotiations are continuing between the Nerazzurri and Perisic’s entourage but an agreement has not been found yet, as the club are unwilling to meet his demands of €5 million plus bonuses.

Perisic will be a free agent in the summer but despite this, Inter continue to negotiate from a position of strength as no other club has offered the Croatia international more lucrative terms than the Nerazzurri as of yet.

The former Wolfsburg star has attracted interest from the Premier League, Bundesliga, and MLS, but there has been no formal offer that surpasses the terms on the table from Inter and the Biscione are hopeful that Perisic will reduce his demands and extend his deal.

It is felt that the coming weeks will determine whether he remains at the club or decides to move on, having joined from Wolfsburg in 2015.
