Inter failed to beat Torino in Serie A yesterday, needing a last-gasp equalizer from Aleixis Sanchez to take anything from the match, and it is not the first time that the Nerazzurri have drawn away from home.

As football statistics account Opta pointed out in a tweet, the Nerazzurri’s last four away fixtures in the league have resulted in the points being shared, a record which the team will not want to keep going for the sake of their Scudetto charge.

Opta’s tweet reads, “4 – Inter have drawn 4 Serie A games played away from home in a row for the first time since December 2004 (6 in that case, under Roberto Mancini). Slowdown.”
