Andrea Ranocchia has been singled out as Inter’s worst performer in their 1-1 draw with Torino in Serie A yesterday evening by Italian media.

The 34-year-old received a score of just 5/10 for his display in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, though he was far from the only Nerazzurri player to be given a low score.

Ranocchia never really looked settled-in filling in for Stefan de Vrij at the heart of the Nerazzurri’s defense, doing very little to stop the Granata’s most dangerous moments.

The defender was also fortunate not to have given away a penalty for what appeared to be a foul on Andrea Belotti in the penalty area.

A number of Ranocchia’s teammates received the same low score, however, including Milan Skriniar, Matias Vecino, Lautaro Martinez, and Ivan Perisic, on a night where they did not look up to the task of coping with Torino’s pressure for long spells.

Alexis Sanchez was the one Nerazzurri player singled out as having had a positive evening for his impactful appearance from the bench, given 7/10, whilst Edin Dzeko and Robin Gosens received 6.5/10 and Federico Dimarco 6/10.
