The relationship between Arturo Vidal and Simone Inzaghi started to go downhill against Real Madrid back in December, according to a report in the Chilean media.

As has been reported by La Tercera in Arturo Vidal’s native Chile, Arturo Vidal was told by the coach that he would start the match against Real Madrid in the Champions League on 7 December, but then he was named on the bench.

Arturo Vidal made it clear to Simone Inzaghi that he was not happy about this but the decision was not reversed.

This is relevant now as Arturo Vidal gave an interview recently in Chile that has added further speculation about where his future lies and whether he is happy at the club or not. He has been fined for it.

His future does not seem to lie at Inter next season. Brazilian side Flamengo are in the running as are Tottenham Hotspur, Galatasaray and Marseille.
