Inter forward Joaquin Correa played for 64 minutes in the Argentine national team’s victory over Venezuela in a World Cup qualifier on Friday evening.
Correa’s Nerazzurri teammate Lautaro Martinez is not in the Albiceleste’s squad for their World Cup qualifiers after testing positive for COVID-19, but Correa is ensuring some Inter representation in their squad.
The club congratulated the forward for the role that he played in an impressive win for Argentine in a post on their official Instagram account.
