Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and defender Stefan de Vrij are aiming to be back in full training with the rest of the squad by Tuesday.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that both players are still working individually to get past their calf injuries, but that they are hoping that a return to full training is just on the horizon.

Both Brozovic and de Vrij missed out on the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clashes with Torino and Fiorentina before the break, and both have been working on their recovery regimes of physiotherapy and personal training during the break.

They are still working individually as they look to fully put their respective muscle problems behind them, but a return to full training looks to be close at hand.

Coach Simone Inzaghi will be happy to soon be able to call upon two of his key squad members in training ahead of this weekend’s Serie A clash with Juventus.
