Lautaro Martinez must put in a performance like the one against Liverpool at Anfield if Inter are to beat Juventus on Sunday, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lautaro Martinez needs to change the fact that he does not have an excellent record against Juventus when playing for Inter.

He has only ever managed three goals against the Bianconeri in 10 appearances, and only one of those goals came in the league where it matters most.

In order to change both that record and his general poor form over the middle part of the season, he must have a performance like the one in Inter’s 1-0 win at Anfield against Liverpool earlier this month.

In that game he was the main threat in the Inter team and he scored a wonderful goal that gave the Nerazzurri a glimmer of hope.
