Forward Joaquin Correa and defender Stefan de Vrij are set to start for Inter in this weekend’s Serie A clash with Hellas Verona.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who also report that Robin Gosens could be handed his first start for the Nerazzurri on Saturday.
Lautaro Martinez will not be available for Saturday’s clash with the Gialloblu through suspension, so Simone Inzaghi is likely to turn to Correa.
The Argentine came off the bench to score a brace to seal a 3-1 win in the reverse fixture at the Bentagodi, his first appearance for Inter, and the coach will be hoping for a similar impact but this time from the start.
Meanwhile, de Vrij was not returned to action against Juventus as the club did not want to risk reinjury despite him being fit, but will likely come back against Verona over the weekend.
