Milan Skriniar has become the symbol of Inter’s defence which has conceded fewer goals than anyone else since he joined the club, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, in the period between Milan Skriniar signing for Luciano Spalletti’s Inter and today, no team in Italy has conceded fewer goals than the Nerazzurri.

The Slovakian joined the club at the start of the 2017/18 Serie A season and in the 184 matches since then, Inter have conceded 154 goals.

The next best is Juventus who have conceded 163 in 185 matches. Inter’s average goals conceded per match is better than the Bianconeri too, with 0.86 for Inter and 0.88 for Juventus.

Across the top five European leagues, there are only three teams who can boast a better record than Inter in this regard. Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, and Paris Saint Germain have a better figure for average goals conceded per match.
