Barcelona are ready to re-join the race for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez along with La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Spanish newspaper Sport, who report that the Blaugranas are once again ready to make a push for the 24-year-old during the summer transfer window.

Martinez had been a major target for Barcelona in the past, although in the end they never made the move for him, and he remained at the Nerazzurri, where the Argentine extended his contract in the fall.

Atletico had been one of the main suitors for Martinez last summer, and their interest remains with the club from the Spanish capital one of the teams keenest on signing him this summer.

However, the Blaugranas are also ready to reignite their interest to sign Martinez for coach Xavi, and according to Sport a deal could be done for around €70 million.
