The referee for Inter’s match against AS Roma on Saturday evening will be Simone Sozza and the VAR official will be Massimiliano Irrati, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the full list of officials for the upcoming Serie A fixtures has been released and Inter now knows who will host their huge match against Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma side on Saturday evening.

The refereeing in Serie A has come under the microscope many times this season with a lot of players, pundits, and fans complaining about the standard.

Inter’s recent match with AC Milan was no different as the Rossoneri had a goal ruled out for offside when Pierre Kalulu was adjudged to have blocked Samir Handanovic’s view of a shot whilst in an offside position.

Inter know that they must win every remaining game to guarantee a second Scudetto in a row.
