Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini could be sold this summer as the Nerazzurri plot a major midfield revamp for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 28-year-old could be allowed to depart along with several other midfielders during the summer transfer window.

The likes of Matias Vecino and Arturo Vidal are all but certain to leave during the summer, whilst Stefano Sensi’s future also looks to be away from the Nerazzurri once he returns from his loan spell with Sampdoria.

The club are aiming to dramatically re-style their midfield going into next season, with the aim of being less reliant on their starting trio of Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Gagliardini could be yet another player who is not in the plans, and it cannot be excluded that the former Atalanta midfielder will follow Vecino and Vidal out the exit door during the window.
