There are four main reasons as to why Inter can still be optimistic about their chances of winning the Scudetto this season, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been highlighted by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, one reason why Inter should remain positive is that even despite the defeat to Bologna, for large parts of the game the passing moves were evident and chances were being created.
It is also important that many individuals in the team are still in very good form such as Ivan Perisic, Milan Skriniar and Marcelo Brozovic.
Simone Inzaghi finally seems to have an abundance of options in attack now that Joaquin Correa has found form and fitness and Alexis Sanchez continues to be a threat from the bench.
The final reason is the calendar. Whilst no game at this stage of the season is easy, Inter certainly have games against weaker opposition than those that AC Milan have to play.
