Manchester United have offered €50 million plus forward Anthony Martial to Inter for Lautaro Martinez, but they are not interested in a player-plus cash offer.

This according to Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi, who reported on his YouTube channel, via FCInter1908, that the Nerazzurri have rejected the offer from the Red Devils as they are only interested in a cash offer for Martinez.

Martinez looks to be one of the likeliest big name players to leave Inter this summer as they look to bring in a significant transfer fee from a major sale to meet financial targets during the window.

There is no shortage of interest in the 24-year-old, although the Nerazzurri will be expecting an offer of a certain size before they would consider letting go of him.

According to Barzaghi, the Nerazzurri’s priority is to bring in cash for Martinez, and they are not interested in United’s cash-plus-player offer.

“There’s talk of Manchester United making an offer of €50 million plus Martial for Lautaro Martinez,” he said.

“Inter aren’t interested in it it,” he went on, “as they would only want cash, and then to go and look for a striker, possibly Dybala.”
