Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin feels that Inter have done a good job of putting their disappointing midweek loss to Bologna behind them by beating Udinese in Serie A.
Tweeting after the Nerazzurri’s 2-1 victory over the Bianconeri, Biasin gave the view that the result was the response needed to the setback suffered on Wednesday.
The loss to Bologna came as a shock to the system for the Nerazzurri, ending what had been a very positive run of form in which they won five matches in a row and putting their Serie A title hopes in serious doubt.
Only three points against Udinese would have likely been enough and they got the result they needed to put the pressure on city rivals AC Milan at the top of the table.
Inter have gotten back to winning ways and showed that they are still ready to push their city rivals all the way to the end.
Biasin called it a “Good reaction to the setback of Bologna, excellent sixty minutes, suffered a bit in the closing stages against one of the form teams of Serie A.”
“Inter won, they still believe in it and that’s okay. Well done,” he added.
