The agent of Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has issued a denial that an agreement is close with Inter on a summer transfer.
Writing in a statement to the editors of the major sports newspapers in Italy, via FCInterNews, Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun stated that, contrary to recent reports, the 28-year-old isn’t close to signing a contract with Inter.
A report from the Gazzetta dello Sport suggested that Dybala has decided to join Inter for next season, and that he is ready to sign a contract with the Nerazzurri.
However, Antun has denied that this is the case, and affirmed that the Argentine is still fully committed to his current club Juventus until the end of the season, when he is expected to leave at the end of his current deal.
The agent stated that for now Dybala has not made a decision on his future and that he is not yet close to agreeing a move to Inter or any other club.
“The player is exclusively focused on the end of the season in the league and the Coppa Italia final,” Antun said. “No agreement has been reached with any team in Italy or abroad at this time.”
